Southington’s Stella Blanchard has been named the 2023 Gatorade Connecticut Softball Player of the Year, the company announced in a release Friday. UNCW’s Gamache & Delaware’s Winburn Headline 2023 CAA Softball Year-End Honors

Winburn is 17-8 in the circle with a 12-3 record in league play. The senior right-hander ranks fourth in the CAA with a 2.16 ERA while posting a 1.20 earned run average in 15 appearances against conference opponents. Kenney and Tracy go 7 each as the Bulldogs win both against Stonehill

EASTON, MASS. – The Bryant University softball team won both games against Stonehill on the road during a Tuesday afternoon doubleheader. The Black and Gold hit three home runs in a row courtesy of Megan Marcel, Amira Rainer, and Morgan Tesser, as Kylie Kenney dealt 13 strikeouts in the game-one win.
